Shipping containers recently set up on concrete pads.
The Brooklyn New School was awarded a $50,000 Lowe’s Grant to help finance this project, a concept for an educational activities laboratory and garden for school-aged children. Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF) has helped more than 1,000 schools across the country create reading gardens, build playgrounds and implement other improvement projects that help strengthen their schools and their communities.
